Page banner

[edit]

I couldn't find any photo suitable for the page banner in Changning District at Commons - there are mainly pictures of train stations. I found some pix from the Shanghai ZOO at Flickr and uploaded them. Can we use some of them? I am not sure: is the ferris wheel actually in the ZOO or near the ZOO? I like the first pic, but sadly the left side will be obstructed by the title. Flip?Danapit (talk) 07:26, 19 June 2013 (UTC)Reply

What about a photo of Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport? --Saqib (talk) 07:38, 19 June 2013 (UTC)Reply
Which one should I try to crop? I don't see any with a potential for a banner, but maybe I just overlooked something. Danapit (talk) 07:45, 19 June 2013 (UTC)Reply

Not bad, at least until someone comes up with something more representative. Welcome onboard of a banner hunt for Shanghai#Districts! (The status table is under Shanghai talk.) Danapit (talk) 08:17, 19 June 2013 (UTC)Reply

I might jump in on this. The airport is important to the district, however not really a reason to visit in itself. Andrewssi2 (talk) 00:51, 28 January 2014 (UTC)Reply
I like the pandas. Might be a tourist attraction too. Pashley (talk) 01:07, 28 January 2014 (UTC)Reply
Yes, pandas are better, although that image doesn't actually show anything about Changning itself Andrewssi2 (talk) 02:22, 28 January 2014 (UTC)Reply

Shanghai History Museum

[edit]

This has moved out of this district to 193 Hankou Road. This is just to remind me later today so that I can move it appropriately. Andrewssi2 (talk) 00:51, 28 January 2014 (UTC)Reply

Moved to Shanghai/Huangpu Andrewssi2 (talk) 05:01, 28 January 2014 (UTC)Reply

Happiness alley?

[edit]

In Macau Rua de Felicidad (Happiness Street) got its name by being the red light district in colonial times. Does something similar apply here? Pashley (talk) 14:29, 15 June 2018 (UTC)Reply
