- @Ikan Kekek: I think I don't understand the issue. If there is no FoP for graphic works in Canada, would we be putting Wikivoyage at risk by uploading it locally? Ground Zero (talk) 10:17, 30 June 2021 (UTC)
- No. I'm not a lawyer, but I believe we would be protected by "fair use" in U.S. copyright law and can upload the photo locally if it meets our Exemption Doctrine Policy. Wikimedia Commons has a stricter policy in that they require images to be free in the United States and the country of origin. —Granger (talk · contribs) 15:42, 30 June 2021 (UTC)
