Improved banner request[edit]
The current one is just a cropped picture which really looks boring. Couldn't find anything better in my library that features the same thing from the current one, but I think this panorama is still better quality-wise than the cropped picture. Jankela121 (talk) 16:01, 19 August 2019 (UTC)
- I'm sorry, but you can't say the new one is better quality than the old, because it just isn't. The resolution is poorer, the image not as sharp or vivid. If the new banner's composition had the same photo quality as the old, I would absolutely support it, but it doesn't.--ThunderingTyphoons! (talk) 16:07, 19 August 2019 (UTC)
- The old one overused the "sharpen" effect which ruined the photo. I think the new one should still be used because it fits the banner aspect ratio better than the old. - The current banner is exactly the kind of page banner I dislike, actually: to me, it just looks bland.
