This should be an extra-region[edit]

Or deleted altogether. Hobbitschuster (talk) 16:51, 29 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

What is the point of this assortment of redlinks? Hobbitschuster (talk) 14:42, 12 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
There has been debate about this in the past. For a time it was a geographical region covering more than one German state, but then we decided that top level regions for Germany should be states. Hesse now has a reasonable sub-regions but the north east tip of Rhineland-Palatinate is still a bit problematic. Westerwald and Lahn has some logic but are low population area. Have thought maybe merging them but have not come up with a good name. As for red links, this is part of the wiki method. It is identifying articles that should be written, there is nothing wrong with red links on a wiki page. --Traveler100 (talk) 15:50, 12 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
How about making Rhineland-Palatinate and Lahn Valley extra-regions and creating a North-East Rhineland-Palatinate or maybe someone can think of a better name. --Traveler100 (talk) 15:53, 12 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Well especially with the recently added redlinks I don't see too much of a rationale for their creation. But that is just my two cents Hobbitschuster (talk) 16:28, 12 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I was actually thinking of reverting some of your edits on removing red links. Aschaffenburg for example should be mentioned in Lower Franconia even if there is no article. --Traveler100 (talk) 16:31, 12 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
