Hello, 186.116.66.133! Welcome to Wikivoyage.

To help get you started contributing, we've created a tips for new contributors page, full of helpful links about policies and guidelines and style, as well as some important information on copyleft and basic stuff like how to edit a page. If you need help, check out Wikivoyage:Help, or post a message in the travellers' pub.

By the way, have you considered creating an account here? While you can absolutely keep contributing as an anonymous user, it promises a bunch of benefits, and no obligations.

Your listing in the Cartagena (Colombia) article was reverted, because it is not in keeping with this site's don't tout policy. I don't suggest you have any ill intent or anything like that, but this site has its house style that must be adhered to. So have a look at Wikivoyage:Don't tout, edit your listing accordingly, and then repost it. If you have any questions after you read that link, feel free to post them below and someone will answer them.

Best,

Please have a look at WV:words to avoid. Words like "we, us, our" (first person pronouns) and flowery non-descriptive language is not ok. We want to inform the traveler and are not an advertising brochure. Failure to comply with those rules - especially when you repeatedly reinsert non-acceptable versions may lead to the link becoming blacklisted (i.e. it may become impossible to list the link anywhere on this site) and your editing privileges might be suspended. This is the discussion page for an anonymous user who has not created an account yet, or who does not use it. We therefore have to use the numerical IP address to identify them. Such an IP address can be shared by several users. If you are an anonymous user and feel that irrelevant comments have been directed at you, please create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other anonymous users.
