Hello 217.146.1.19! Welcome to Wikivoyage.

To help get you started contributing, we've created a tips for new contributors page, full of helpful links about policies and guidelines and style, as well as some important information on copyleft and basic stuff like how to edit a page.

If you are a Wikipedian then you may notice some differences in policies and the style of our articles. These include:

It may also be very useful for you to check out Wikivoyage:Welcome, Wikipedians. If you need help, take a look at Wikivoyage:Help, or else post a message in the travellers' pub or on my talk page. Thanks for contributing!

This seems a little too encyclopedic/Wikipedia-style for Wikivoyage:

Courses are taught in Spanish, although some English language MScs have become more common since the Bologna Process reforms in 2009.

We don't link everything every time a linkable term appears, and whatever the "Bologna Process" is, it doesn't sound relevant to travelers. And now, about that university, does it accept visiting students who come for a summer, or for a year on exchange programs? If so, that's what would be relevant on this site. Otherwise, it might not be worth listing, as "Learn" is an optional section. Please read Wikivoyage:Listings#Educational institutions for guidelines.

Thanks!

This looks like a very good start to an itinerary. However, Wikivoyagers tend to frown upon itineraries with "in 10 days" or "in 3 days," because they do not demonstrate a specific route. Do you have a possible name for the itinerary that would better fit Wikivoyage:Itineraries? Don't worry about it, though. --Comment by Selfie City (talk | contributions) 19:31, 4 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Could it perhaps be organized as a round trip and called "Around Tenerife"? I checked Tenerife, and I see it is an island. --Comment by Selfie City (talk | contributions) 19:32, 4 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
And how is this "itinerary" any different to just adding information to the Tenerife article and its city and park articles? At the moment, it just seems to house content which could and should be in a destination article. A better itinerary would be built around a theme. I don't know Tenerife very well, but for elsewhere in the Canaries, possible examples could be "Cesar Manrique's Lanzarote", or "Geological tourism in the Canary Islands". What's the theme here, apart from stuff you can do in Tenerife if you have 10 (or 9, or 11, or 12...) days to spare? --ThunderingTyphoons! (talk) 19:50, 4 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@ThunderingTyphoons!: Your title suggestions are far better than my own. --Comment by Selfie City (talk | contributions) 20:19, 4 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
To be clear, I'm far from convinced this itinerary should even exist. But I'm willing to see how it develops before acting hastily.--ThunderingTyphoons! (talk) 20:29, 4 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Yes. I don't want to see any work be wasted here, and the IP user could add some content that belongs in a separate itinerary (or travel topic). I agree that we should wait and then decide. --Comment by Selfie City (talk | contributions) 20:30, 4 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Unfortunately, we have seen no response so far from this user. A response would be helpful, since we could then better understand what kind of article this user intends to create and whether or not he would like merging the content into Tenerife upon completion. --Comment by Selfie City (talk | contributions) 20:31, 4 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Templates converting Fahrenheit to celsius[edit]

Thanks for adding these templates, as that's really helpful! Many articles on Wikivoyage do not use those templates, so when I find an article without the templates, I often add those templates so the formatting is correct. --Comment by Selfie City (talk | contributions) 11:16, 10 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
