Hello, Buffaboy! Welcome to Wikivoyage.

To help get you started contributing, we've created a tips for new contributors page, full of helpful links about policies and guidelines and style, as well as some important information on copyleft and basic stuff like how to edit a page. If you need help, check out Help, or post a message in the travellers' pub. If you are familiar with Wikipedia, take a look over some of the differences here.

Thanks for helping out on Utica. Are you familiar with Clinton, Rome or other towns in the area?

All the best,

Ikan Kekek (talk) 00:15, 7 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi @Ikan Kekek:, while I know a little about Clinton (Hamilton College) and Rome (Fort Stanwix), I know more about Western NY (Buffalo, Niagara Falls, Rochester) than CNY. Cheers, Buffaboy (talk) 00:20, 7 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I look forward to your contributions in articles about Western New York.
Incidentally, the article about Palmyra, New York is currently under consideration for a front-page feature as an Off the beaten path destination. Perhaps you'd like to look at the article, and if you think it's in good enough shape to merit featuring, consider adding a vote of support at Wikivoyage:Destination of the month candidates#Palmyra (New York).
All the best,
