Hello, Dbinni! Welcome to Wikivoyage.
To help get you started contributing, we've created a tips for new contributors page, full of helpful links about policies and guidelines and style, as well as some important information on copyleft and basic stuff like how to edit a page. If you need help, check out Help, or post a message in the travellers' pub. New users are also welcome to post any questions or concerns to the arrivals lounge. If you want some practice editing, please do so on our graffiti wall. If you are familiar with Wikipedia, take a look over some of the differences here. If you want to contribute with information about the place where you live, see Wikivoyage:Welcome, locals. —Justin (koavf)❤T☮C☺M☯ 10:58, 21 October 2024 (UTC)
@Dbinni: thank you for the improvements you have made to the Pyeongtaek article. Here are some ways you can make it better:
- the first paragraph of an article should explain why a reader would want to visit a place. What makes it interesting, beyond just that it is a resort town?
- We know that the places listed are in Danyang-gun, Chungcheongbuk-do, because the article is called "Danyang". In English Wikivoyage, it is incorrect to include the city name in the address tabs of listings, unless the listing is in a different city (i.e., not in Danyang).
Please make these changes. Thank you.
Also, we write prices as "₩1,000", not "1,000 won". See the box at the top of Talk:South Korea. I have made this change for you. Ground Zero (talk) 12:20, 4 November 2024 (UTC)
- @Dbinni: why do you ignore the advice I have given you about listings? You have made the same mistakes here. It is not the job of other editors to correct your errors. You must do it. Ground Zero (talk) 11:56, 11 November 2024 (UTC)
