Hello, KikuJones! Welcome to Wikivoyage.

To help get you started contributing, we've created a tips for new contributors page, full of helpful links about policies and guidelines and style, as well as some important information on copyleft and basic stuff like how to edit a page. If you need help, check out Help, or post a message in the travellers' pub. New users are also welcome to post any questions or concerns to the arrivals lounge. If you want some practice editing, please do so on our graffiti wall. If you are familiar with Wikipedia, take a look over some of the differences here. If you want to contribute with information about the place where you live, see Wikivoyage:Welcome, locals. Hobbitschuster (talk) 12:51, 25 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

Listings

[edit]

Hello and welcome, KikuJones!

About this edit: Thanks for the list, but Wikivoyage isn't about lists but about listings. To be useful, every one of those entries needs to include a location (geocoding and/or address), URL if they have one, open hours, description (which goes in the "content" tab) and information about pricing or any entry fees.

Using a relevant Wikivoyage listing template for each one would be best. To create listing templates, click one of the icons to the right of "Listings" in your edit screen. The Greek temple creates a blank "See" listing; the bicycle, a "Do" listing; the shopping cart, a "Buy" listing; the knife and spoon, "Eat"; the martini glass, "Drink"; the bed, "Sleep", the airplane, "Go" (for airports, bus stations and such); and the "i", a listing that doesn't fit into any other category. Make sure not to delete any fields that remain empty after you've added the information you want to include.

Let me know if you have any questions, and thanks!

All the best,

I just noticed, there's a wrinkle: Akron Metropolitan Area is a region article. Listings belong in city articles. So the best thing to do is link each entry to the relevant city article, rather than making it into a full templated listing. Ikan Kekek (talk) 21:38, 25 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

Okay, thanks! I'm new around so I don't have the best idea about how things work, but thank you anyways! Have a nice day. KikuJones (talk) 23:03, 25 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

I know. :-) That's why I'm welcoming you. Ikan Kekek (talk) 23:18, 25 November 2020 (UTC)Reply
