"Currently"

[edit]

Hi, Kiteinthewind! Thanks a lot for the updates you've been making!

A small matter here: We try to avoid words like "currently", which tend to go out of date almost the second they are posted, and give an "as of" date for a temporary condition (museums being under restoration, hotels being closed for remodeling - or in this case, airport terminals awaiting demolition). The reason we try to be careful about these things is that we've found that such words are still in articles 5, 10, 15 years later, when they haven't been true for almost as long. See also this edit summary and this one, and please read edit summaries any time your work is edited.

Thanks, and all the best,

United States of America

[edit]

We have been trying hard to avoid having United States of America grow, see the talk page. I don't know enough about the country to tweak your additions, or to judge which are important ones, but I think you should be very careful about what really needs to be said, and what really could be said more concisely (e.g.: could some info on media be said generally, thus avoiding separate descriptions). –LPfi (talk) 19:51, 25 October 2023 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for letting me know. I’ll look at ways to consolidate and perhaps even shrink down the page with more concise wording. Kiteinthewind (talk) 17:01, 26 October 2023 (UTC)Reply
