Welcome

[edit]

Hello! Thank you for your contributions. Welcome to Wikivoyage. I hope that you'll keep sharing information with fellow travellers through this project.

To help get you started contributing, we've created a tips for new contributors page, full of helpful links about policies and guidelines, style, and basic stuff like how to edit a page.

If you need help, post a question in the Arrivals lounge.

Also I noticed that you are using "PAX" in your edits. What does this mean? We are writingfor the general travelling public, so it is better to use plain English words than unexplained codes. Thanks. Ground Zero (talk) 00:15, 28 January 2024 (UTC)Reply

for pangkor page, that's person and what was used in the banner. I have a picture of it but not sure if should add it or no.
Thanks for the inputs. Travelasia24 (talk) 04:26, 28 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
Why not just write "person"? It is simpler, and everyone will understand it.
If you have a picture you want to use, you should upload it to the Wikimedia Commons first. Ground Zero (talk) 09:19, 28 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
I did the change. any ios app to make editing easier? draft change, adding osm/wikipedia/gos references and so on Travelasia24 (talk) 08:35, 23 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
Hi, unfortunately Wikivoyage in its current form lacks an iOS app. There is the Kiwix app which you can use to download content, but it doesn't make editing easier. --SHB2000 (talk | contribs | meta) 08:44, 23 February 2024 (UTC)Reply

Time formatting in Indonesia

[edit]

Wikivoyage uses the 24-hour clock for formatting times in Indonesia articles. See Talk:Indonesia. Using the same formatting throughout an article makes it easier for readers to understand the information that is being presented. Thanks. Ground Zero (talk) 12:28, 18 April 2024 (UTC)Reply

Sorry. will review. any page documenting countries using 24-hour and not? thanks Travelasia24 (talk) 07:46, 19 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
Thanks. At the top of the talk page for each country article you'll find a formatting box the indicates the time and currency formats we use for that country's articles. Ground Zero (talk) 10:59, 19 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
