[edit]Article Status To do Bharmour Outline Has only an intro, two temple listings in "See", two photos and an unusable "Sleep" section. Chakrata Outline This is a well-written embryo of an article. What's there probably needs only light copy editing, but a lot more information would be welcome. Chamba Outline Third on the list of Uttarakhand#Cities. This link was pointing to an article about Chamba, Himachal Pradesh, not the town by the same name in Uttarakhand. Unfortunately, there was no article for this Chamba, and it is now just the merest beginning of an article. Dehradun Guide Dehradun is capital of the state and leads off the "Cities" list in the Uttarakhand article. There's a lot of information in the article, but many listings - especially below the "See" section - still lack exact location info. There are also questionable lists in "Get in/By train" with footnote numbers and in "Get around/By Shared (Fixed-Route) Autorickshaws". We should strive to make this information as readable and easily understandable as possible. Since the fixed-route auto rickshaws seem important, a route map would be a great idea. At this point, the article is a weak Guide. Dhanaulti Outline Ghangaria Outline Well-written, just not much information, though there are 3 nice "See" listings. Haridwar Usable This article is not far from being a Guide. The main thing it needs now is a thorough copy edit and update. A lot of the information and listings seem to be at least a few years old, and some of the listings were clearly posted by interested parties (business owners, etc.), might not be reliable and need detouting and removal of default location info such as the name of the city. The train schedules are unusual for Wikivoyage, but these are clear and not overwhelming, so if they're still accurate, they may be fine to keep. A couple more well-chosen photos might be good, too. Joshimath Outline Kotdwar Outline Lansdowne (India) Outline This is a well-written article about a somewhat important town: the hill station closest to Delhi, which is also home to what sounds like an important army base and military history. The article isn't Usable yet because clear location info is given only for a few "See" listings that have Geo, and the Geo for Santoshi Mata Temple is probably wildly wrong (see Talk:Lansdowne (India). Also, the article needs a custom banner. I think that with some work, this might be a good article, but the current task should be to make it genuinely Usable, at least. Mussoorie Usable This article presents a good deal of information, and is much improved, now Usable as of 21 November 2015. The article lacks a pagebanner and could use more photos, if there are more good ones available. Copy editing is also needed, listification should continue, and we may need to think about a logical way to organize the "Buy" section. Rishikesh Usable This article is much improved, but it seems like it still could use more copy editing, tweaking of subtitles, and possibly detouting and updating. A few more well-chosen photos might be good. Roorkee Outline Tehri Outline Uttarkashi Outline Vikasnagar Outline

[edit]Article Status To do Almora Outline This article is linked in the Uttarakhand#Cities list just below the article for the capital, Dehradun. It could use a map and a couple more well-chosen images, if possible. Otherwise, what really makes it less than Usable is the lack of clear location descriptions and directions for getting to different attractions, et al. Dunagiri Outline Dwarahat Outline Kathgodam Outline Kausani Outline Mukteshwar Outline It's not clear how much more content could be put into this article, since Mukteshwar is described as "a tiny hamlet." It looks like there are at this time only 3 photos in Commons Category Mukteshwar, and one is of a moth, so I'll put thumbnails of the other two in the article. It does need a pagebanner and could use a map, and "Get in" might be subdivided or edited for better readability, but it's not clear how much more can be done, so my question is, how could this article be made into a Guide? Munsyari Outline Nainital Usable This article, linked 7th in Uttarakhand#Cities, contains a fair amount of information but is weakly Usable. As stated in the "style" template at the top of the article: There are many formatting problems, and listings need descriptions, basic contact information and rates, which many of them lack. The main thing that really stands out is the lack of descriptions in many listings below the "Do" section; however, another problem is that sections are not in the standard order. Also lacks a pagebanner and map. Peora Outline Pithoragarh Outline This article, 8th on the list of 9 "Cities" in the Uttarakhand article, is in sad condition. Almost none of the listings except in "See" has any location information, and several of them are nothing but a bolded name. It does have a pagebanner and one other image now but could use more if possible. Ranikhet Outline
