What highway is this

Can someone explain to me where the propane tanker and the trucker are heading to in this video [1]. Thanks! --Mark Ellwitz (talk) 19:37, 29 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

The Tourist Office isn't really the place for "what highway/interchange/stretch of road is this" questions. Try the Wikipedia Humanities reference desk. -- AndreCarrotflower (talk) 19:39, 29 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Is that where you can ask highway questions? --Mark Ellwitz (talk) 19:42, 29 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
To be quite honest I don't know where that place is. Though, to be fair we have had a similar question in the past and it was answered... At any rate, how about editing an article of a town you know? Maybe add a restaurant you liked or a hotel you stayed in? It does not take long and don't worry, we are able to fix most rooky mistakes in no time. They are on the I-20 near Shreveport, Louisiana. See [2] They are heading west. Pleclown (talk) 11:39, 3 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Mount Dajti‬, Tirana

Is it possible to climb the mountain on foot, without using the cable car? 37.142.197.179 10:29, 4 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hi 37.142.197.179, the Tirana Wikivoyage article seems to suggest that the cable car may be the only way up, and an internet search doesn't show anything that suggests it is possible to walk up the mountain. But if you want a more active visit to Mount Dajti, there is a hiking and cycling day trip (which also uses the cable car), offered for €35 by Outdoor Albania. However, you could phone Dajti Ekspres at +355 68 60 660 70 or +355 67 20 844 71 and ask if you can walk up. Hopefully this helped,  Seagull123  Φ  21:47, 10 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, a call is probably the best solution (although the cable car company is not necessarily the best ones to call). I think only a minority of tourists are ready to make a hike when there is a cable car available, so the option is not necessarily advertised anywhere. The free maps linked from our pages are not very good for evaluating the terrain (the mountain is steep, but not necessarily too steep) or possible obstacles such as private gardens. --LPfi (talk) 07:14, 11 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
The road to the Dajti Castle ruins seems to continue to the upper end of the cable car. Also from the northwest (directly or using the road to Tujan) there seems to be a viable route, without road, but there may be footpaths not shown on the Google terrain map. There is a plateau between the steep section passed by cable car and the steep sides of the peak itself. --LPfi (talk) 07:37, 11 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Question about check in with a large (not cabin) suitcase

Hello! I'm travelling on the 17th Feb to Argentina, via Madrid Barajas, using Aerolineas Argentinas (round-trip, coming in the 28th Feb); But I'am from Lisbon (no direct flights to Buenos Aires), so I bought a ticket from Iberia Lisbon-MAdrid (round trip from 17th to 1st March), and i would like to know when i arrive to Barajas (from Lisbon), do i need to leave the airside, and go to the aerolineas argentinas counter to make the check in? Or can I make everything in Lisbon? Thanks in advance Asked by: PedroSerra07 (talk) 18:29, 17 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

If you bought it as two separate tickets than you would have to collect and drop off your luggage again in Madrid. If you bought it as one single ticket, your airline should be able to tell you how it works. In general luggage is checked through by most European airlines (even when they codeshare or otherwise cooperate between different airlines) while in the US it is not. But I have never flown to/from Lisbon or on Aerolineas Argentinas (I have flown on Iberia and they checked my luggage through all the way through the connection via COPA), so my information might not be accurate. At any rate inquire when you drop off your luggage in Lisbon. And as I said, if it's two separate tickets, you will have to pick up your luggage and drop it off again in Madrid (remember to leave enough time for that). Tail of the Dragon

From this video [3], does anyone know which side of the Dragon the Swift semi truck is on (Tennessee or North Carolina)? Is the Swift semi heading to North Carolina or Tennessee? --107.77.235.145 11:40, 26 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Again, the Wikivoyage Tourist Office is for tourism-related questions only, not "name that highway" questions. Please direct all future inquiries of this nature to the Wikipedia Humanities reference desk. -- AndreCarrotflower (talk) 16:22, 26 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
