Tram lines

[edit]

It appears that trams are rather important for this neighborhood yet they currently don't show up on any map. Should we fix this? If yes how? Should we add them into the dynamic map or try to find a static map of tram lines in just this part of Berlin? Hobbitschuster (talk) 14:16, 26 February 2018 (UTC)Reply

Including them on the dynamic map would probably be better, though I imagine the coding is fairly tricky. If there isn't already a static map, you could always create one yourself? I know a cool metro map-creating website if you're interested, though am not sure about the copyright situation of maps you create using the software. --ThunderingTyphoons! Could you please post the link? Hobbitschuster (talk) 15:04, 26 February 2018 (UTC)Reply
Yes, here it is: Have fun. There is an example map which acts as a handy tutorial when you first open it. If anything about the program fails to be intuitive, I'd be happy to help out. --ThunderingTyphoons! (talk) 15:27, 26 February 2018 (UTC)Reply

Aerodynamic Park

[edit]

Thought of rearranging Aerodynamic Park listing - just a thought -- Matroc (talk) 06:13, 28 February 2018 (UTC)Reply

  • 1 Aerodynamic Park, Rudower Chausee/Newtonstraße, 12489 Berlin (S-Bahn: S8,S9,S45,S46,S85 Adlershof, Tram: 61,63 Magnusstr., Bus: 162,164). This aeronautical experimental park on the grounds of Germany's first air field Johannisthal consists of a group of several individual technical monuments Aerodynamic_Park on Wikipedia such as:
  • 2 Großer Windkanal (High-speed wind channel (1932–34 )). de:Großer_Windkanal on Wikipedia
  • 3 Isothermische Kugellabore ("Adlershofer Busen", Isothermal spheric laboratories (1959–1961)). located about 500 metres away from the other monuments. de:Isothermische_Kugellabore on Wikipedia
  • 4 Schallgedämpfter Motorenprüfstand (Sound-insulated engine test bed (1933–35)). de:Schallgedämpfter_Motorenprüfstand on Wikipedia
  • 5 Trudelturm (Fatty tower, a vertical wind tunnel for spinning tests (1934–36)). de:Trudelturm on Wikipedia
Doesn't sound too bad. Hobbitschuster (talk) 20:53, 28 February 2018 (UTC)Reply
Sorry, I didn't see this discussion and went ahead and removed a lot of details for easier reading. I don't mind your suggestion either, if you think each building is important enough to have its own listing. If you use this format, consider using two "**" and not ":*" (w:Help:List) Xsobev (talk) 13:07, 20 March 2018 (UTC)Reply
