-> I travelled along this route, returning on December, 30th 2011. My passport was not collected at any time! It was checked several times but alays handed back to me. So no problems to expect!

Merge to Jerusalem[edit]

I think that it makes more sense to merge this "article" to Jerusalem because it is directions to Jerusalem from Cairo. ~ Anastasia (talk) 20:51, 5 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I do not agree, while it's quite hideous in it's layout the journey is quite complicated and will just take up a lot of space in each article. An alternative could be to create something like Overland travel in the Middle East which could be used as a general travel topic for the often complicated journeys in the region. This article provides directions for both ways, so I think merging it is erroneous. Ikan Kekek (talk) 02:31, 1 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

bus travel in the middle east / in Egypt[edit]

we have an article on bus travel in Israel and maybe this would resolve the problem of this "problematic" itinerary" as well as improving our coverage on bus travel in general. Thoughts? Hobbitschuster (talk) 19:15, 22 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Seems fine to me - I was apparently the one who tagged the article for merging back when we were reviewing questionable itinerary articles, and if there is a more specific merge target that can be used then I'm in full support. -- Ryan • (talk) • 19:32, 22 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
