Merge

[edit]

As per my (one person) discussion on Talk:Kingscote I have merged that info into here. There was no really unique information there, it was all repeated in this article anyway. Its unclear to me whether we will eventually need multiple articles for Kangaroo island. Anyway, if it becomes unworkable, we can split. Until then, I've put redirects from the major towns to this article. No information has been lost. --(WT-en) Inas 23:08, 22 March 2009 (EDT)

New banner

[edit]

Who can say no to this? SHB2000 (talk | contribs | meta.wikimedia) 04:28, 17 August 2021 (UTC)Reply

New banner
No. But seriously, yes. :-) Ikan Kekek (talk) 04:44, 17 August 2021 (UTC)Reply
If you really think that a koala bear chewing on eucalyptus is cuter than a lump of igneous rock, then go ahead, but it will be on your conscience if this drives all of our fossicking readership away. ;-) Ground Zero (talk) 12:01, 25 August 2021 (UTC)Reply
Is it me, or are kangaroos getting smaller? --ThunderingTyphoons! (talk) 12:34, 25 August 2021 (UTC)Reply

──────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────── @Ikan Kekek, Ground Zero, ThunderingTyphoons!: So..... need more consensus for the new banner which is next to impossible to resist? (Also fun fact if you didn't know but roos are an introduced species to roo Island and aren't native) SHB2000 (talk | contribs | meta.wikimedia) 10:06, 30 August 2021 (UTC)Reply
There have been no objections in two weeks, so you have consensus. Ground Zero (talk) 11:07, 30 August 2021 (UTC)Reply
Yes Done. If anyone comes asking why is the banner a koala instead of a roo on roo Island... SHB2000 (talk | contribs | meta.wikimedia) 22:52, 30 August 2021 (UTC)Reply

Flinders Chase National Park

[edit]

Should it get its own article, or should it just remain here. My insights are that it should get its own article because it's a national park, but would like some other opinions. --SHB2000 (talk | contribs | meta.wikimedia) 23:42, 21 December 2021 (UTC)Reply
