Star Express[edit]

I removed this text from the Taal article:

From Batangas City, Palico-Balayan-Batangas Road (Route 436) is the main route; Batangas Starexpress Corporation (BSC) has hourly departures to Batangas City or Nasugbu, but the trip may be slow as you pass through industrial suburbs like San Pascual and Bauan. Jeepneys can also be used to reach Taal from Batangas City, but service is infrequent, and traffic jams in Bauan often make this inconvenient. Unless your budget is very tight, take the bus instead.

I suspect some of it belongs here but Star Express is already mentioned & I'm not sure exactly what needs saying. Is their route Batangas-Lemery-Nasugbu? Pashley (talk) 16:29, 10 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Yes Done, but others should check my work. Pashley (talk) 17:50, 10 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, BSC runs Batangas City-Nasugbu via downtown Lemery; the LED signs on the windshield do say that. Thanks for clarifying.-TagaSanPedroAko (talk) 02:58, 11 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I took this out; to me is seems pointless, rather ugly, & outdated.

Preserving here in case anyone disagrees. Pashley (talk) 17:51, 15 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

It's not a masterpiece. --Comment by Selfie City (talk | contributions) 01:20, 16 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Time from Manila[edit]

The Get in section here currently says:

Trips take about 2 hours and 45 minutes to 3 hours, depending on traffic conditions.

However, Taal#Get_in has:

Travel from Manila to Taal takes about two hours, or longer depending on traffic conditions.

I would change both to:

typically around three hours, sometimes a little less or a lot more depending on traffic

But what is correct? Also, how long from Batangas City? Pashley (talk) 14:56, 16 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Could this kind of difference be caused by traffic, in this region? --Comment by Selfie City (talk | contributions) 22:20, 16 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I'm not sure exactly. Lemery to Taal is only a few minutes, so traffic there does not matter. There can be problems in the suburbs of Batangas City, but I am not sure you go there on a Manila-Lemery trip. Last year I went Lemery-NAIA by car in a bit under three hours. Well, judging from the map, the airport is on the south side of Manila, but still it is probably a good estimate for time spent travelling to Lemery. I'd say, do what you think makes the most sense based on your experience driving in the area.
