Title[edit]

Do we really have to have it under this extremely clumsy and bureaucratic title?

What about moving it to Newark Airport or Newark Liberty Airport? Hobbitschuster (talk) 08:08, 26 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I don't really have an opinion either way but I think we have tried to keep article's names similar to the ones used on our bigger sister project, and WP does use the full name w:Newark Liberty International Airport. ϒpsilon (talk) 09:03, 26 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

More options for "Nearby"?[edit]

Yes, New York is the obvious destination nearby, but I'd be interested in some other options too. Any interesting destinations in New Jersey within an hour of the airport by public transportation? —Granger (talk · contribs) 03:15, 3 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

An estimate of an hour's travel time depends on how long it takes to get the Newark Airport free shuttle to the railway station and then how long you wait for your train, so that's a bit iffy, but you could certainly visit Newark itself, Jersey City, Elizabeth or New Brunswick. Princeton is more than an hour away (1:10 during peak hours, not including waiting time, for just the NJ Transit trains), and if you want to take Amtrak, you can get to Philadelphia in 59 minutes to 1 hour 14 minutes, though the trains do sell out in advance at times (several Northeast Regional trains leaving on Thursday have only 1 seat left). My question would be how long your layover is. Ikan Kekek (talk) 04:07, 3 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks, that's really good to know. My layover is eight hours, actually (about 2PM–10PM), so any of those could be an option. I may end up meeting a friend in New York if the timing works out, but otherwise I'll look through those city articles and see what looks interesting. —Granger (talk · contribs) 05:26, 3 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
New York is a decent bet with that long a layover, though do keep in mind that you probably want to get back to the airport at least 1.5 hours before your next flight. Ikan Kekek (talk) 09:22, 3 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Makes sense. I went ahead and added some of your suggestions to the article. Please adjust as you see fit, of course. —Granger (talk · contribs) 10:15, 3 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

COVID box[edit]

The link in the covid box to w:Abbott Laboratories’ rapid test leads to nowhere. I am sure there is a better link somewhere? Thanks in advance, Ottawahitech (talk) 16:28, 30 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
