Alternative banner for this article?
[edit]In my opinion, it would be better to have a banner that shows the downtown area (as we usually do in downtown articles on Wikivoyage) while having a picture of the Akershus castle in the article. Which banner do you prefer for this article?

- Thanks, I think the new one is nicer, more of the centre and not only the castle. --Erik den yngre (talk) 18:21, 18 June 2018 (UTC)
Metro lines don't show up on the dynamic map any longer
[edit]Does anyone know why? ויקיג'אנקי (talk) 18:49, 5 September 2021 (UTC)
- Strange. @Wauteurz:, any idea? SHB2000 (talk | contribs | meta.wikimedia) 08:49, 25 September 2021 (UTC)
- It's not that they don't show, they show seemingly randomly. One day it will show lines X and Y, but a few days later it might go for A, Z and G. I am aware of the issue but lack the capabilities to fix it myself. I think this is a known issue already, and it would have to do with the link between Wikidata and OSM most likely. Just in case the issue isn't known after all, the person with the most knowledge about {{Mapshapes}} should be Andree.sk. They should be able to cast some more light on the issue here.
-- Wauteurz (talk) 11:18, 25 September 2021 (UTC)- Unless there was some mass-modification in WD/OSM (from the few things I checked it doesn't seem so), it looks like some bug in kartographer or other wiki maps stuff - mapshapes in other citis (Paris, Prague, Madrid) don't show up either - only a few/parts of them. @RolandUnger:, any ideas? Perhaps something for phabricator? -- andree 12:51, 27 September 2021 (UTC)
- The bug described is known from beginning of August and occurs on the WMF map server (and that's why it is present on all wikis). This server does not return anything but it should return a geoJSON record. It seems that the cause for this bug was already detected, and an update should be deployed soon. --RolandUnger (talk) 13:30, 27 September 2021 (UTC)
