Name[edit]

I originally created this at Simao, but moved it here. WP says the older name has been officially restored and calls their article Pu'er City. Also, the only Chinese from the town that I ever met said Pu'er. Pashley (talk) 16:59, 28 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I'm in Pu'er right now and all around I've seen it called Pu'er. I haven't yet noticed a sign or anything saying Simao but I'll keep an eye open tomorrow. — Hippietrail (talk) 16:11, 31 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
