• Comment: Wikivoyage:What is an article? discourages articles on individual persons. Wikivoyage has a couple of decent articles on characters of folklore, such as Robin Hood and Dracula. Still, an article on a real or fictional person should make up an itinerary or a collection of destinations of meaningful size. • Comment: I'm not sure whether we should have this topic article or not, but I'd observe that there are several places called Santa Claus. See w:Santa Claus, Indiana, w:Santa Claus, Georgia, w:Santa Claus, Arizona. The one in Arizona was a ghost town, but: "What presently remains is several vandalized buildings, a wishing well, and the "Old 1225", a derailed, pink children's train tagged with graffiti that mar the hand-painted renderings of Santa and his elves on the train. As of early 2022, all remaining buildings have been removed." So not the potential subject of a viable destination article. Santa Claus, Georgia is tiny and probably worth only a redirect and listing in Vidalia (Georgia), 13 miles away, as a curiosity because of its name and the fact that "The city has several Christmas-themed street names: Candy Cane Road, December Drive, Rudolph Way, Dancer Street, Prancer Street, and Sleigh Street." However, Santa Claus, Indiana looks like it could have a viable destination article. If we choose to merge this to Christmas and New Year travel and keep a separate "Santa Claus-related destinations" section, we could create a disambiguation page for Santa Claus and start an article on the town in Indiana if anyone is inspired to start an article about it.
