A major motivation for the deletion discussion (Wikivoyage:Votes for deletion/July 2013) was being "unused", but I personally use it quite often, and as seen for the corresponding Wikipedia template at [1], it is frequently used. Mikael Häggström (talk) 13:12, 19 February 2014 (UTC)
- The proper place for a proposal to resurrect this would be at WV:Votes for undeletion. Texugo (talk) 13:24, 19 February 2014 (UTC)
- I see no important purpose for this template. Shall we (re-)delete it? Ikan Kekek (talk) 09:40, 22 August 2015 (UTC)
- It is one of the most usable and needed templates in Wikipedia: more than 5000 Pages that link to w:uk:Template:Smiley, more than 15,000 Pages that link to w:Template:Smiley (it seems, more than 100,000 usings), and so on. I can not imagine any wikipedia talk without Template:Smiley. — Yuriy V Dzyadyk (t • c) 20:57, 22 August 2015 (UTC).
- Sorry, on the page Wikivoyage:Votes for deletion/July 2013 I can not find text "Template:Smiley"; why? — Yuriy V Dzyadyk (t • c) 21:08, 22 August 2015 (UTC).
- This is not Wikipedia. What travel-related purpose does this template serve, when it's simple enough to just do this: :-)? Wikivoyage has a consensus against including a lot of unnecessary templates, so why is this one special? Ikan Kekek (talk) 21:29, 22 August 2015 (UTC)
- I've nominated this template for redeletion. Feel free to try to convince a consensus why it should have been unilaterally restored. Ikan Kekek (talk) 02:30, 23 August 2015 (UTC)
