Add topicHello, Ursus44! Welcome to Wikivoyage.

This is a interesting article and a good subject for an Itinerary. I would however like to check with you that this is not a copy from other peoples work which may be copyrighted? Also it appear to be promoting another website a little too much, a mention is fine but this is not a place for advertising. Would be good if you could tone it down a little. As an example for useful tips on style and format, take a look at Ad's Path. --Traveler100 (talk) 05:12, 28 September 2017 (UTC)
- I made a category for your images on Commons. Thank you for them. I think it would be wise to send an email to the OTRS system, to confirm you are the artist. The {{own work}} is often used when just the photography is by the Commons user, which is unproblematic for landscapes and old art, but not enough in this case. Sooner or later some admin will find the images and think they are copyright violations, unless this step is taken.
- There are instructions on Commons:OTRS#E-mail template for release of rights to a file. The mail should be sent to permissions-commons@wikimedia.org with content as in the template: "I hereby affirm that I am Boris Pecigoš, the creator and sole owner of the exclusive copyright of both the work depicted and the media as shown ...". Choose alternatives that suite your situation. There is no handy way in the template to tell what media or works the affirmation is about. A file list will do very well, but then future contributions are not included (but making additions later is not too difficult).
- You probably have to change the wording so that it is clear that only the photographs, not the artworks themselves, are covered by the licence you choose.
- If the procedure is confusing, many people on Commons and here are happy to help (including me, but I might not be able to answer promptly, so a public question/request is better than one in private).
- Thank you LPfi for that information! I sent the email as you stated! Thanks for making the category too! Is it possible to change the name of category to "Stražica - Sapaćica Land art trail" or just "Land art trail on Mt. Učka" to correspond to the name of the article (itenerary)? --Ursus44 (talk) 21:19, 4 October 2017 (UTC)
- Good. I seem to have been to quick when naming, I just did a copy-and-paste without really checking how the trail was named. Now renamed (I hope I got the English capitalisation right). Could you check that I got the Croatian name right, and add a short description in Croatian? --LPfi (talk) 07:46, 5 October 2017 (UTC)
- Thanks! All is well! I added description in Croatian. --Ursus44 (talk) 08:04, 5 October 2017 (UTC)
Thanks for insights and advice
[edit]Thanks Traveler100! I am new here and I'll add itinerary template, and tone down the external links. Text is mine, not of other people, I'm the author of text and the Land art trail too. Thanks again. --Ursus44 (talk) 08:17, 28 September 2017 (UTC)
- You haven't done this. The article, as it is, is very out of line with the Don't tout policy, since you are using Wikivoyage to promote your work. Therefore the "style" tag. Ibaman (talk) 18:18, 2 October 2017 (UTC)
