- Support Here's a map I created today. Cannot see what is missing or what would prevent it from becoming a star static map. --SHB2000 (talk | contribs | meta) 12:04, 14 July 2023 (UTC)
- Also for anyone who is wondering why there are giant chunky borders, it's to clearly highlight that it's an international border (with Lesotho, Eswatini and Mozambique). SHB2000 (talk | contribs | meta) 12:08, 14 July 2023 (UTC)

- Used on: South East Queensland
- Support I'm a bit biased, but that's because this is one of my personal favourites from the many maps I've traced. It's also a QI on Commons. --SHB2000 (talk | contribs | meta) 11:27, 2 July 2023 (UTC)
- I've stated this somewhere before, but the freeway (Bruce Hwy) currently does not extend up to Curra (as marked on the static map) – this section of freeway north of exit 263 is under construction as you can see https://www.openstreetmap.org/#map=12/-26.1596/152.6279. - Talk:South East Queensland#Static map remarks has a few of my other remarks. --SHB2000 (talk | contribs | meta) 12:24, 2 July 2023 (UTC)
- Comment: I think this is a really good map. My only comment is more about style -- some of the region names are hard to read (Gympie and Greater Brisbane), which is a flaw of our template (IMO). I personally think the hex colour of the region names should never be lighter than 202020 so it's a shade lighter than city names but still dark enough to read. -Shaundd (talk) 23:54, 2 July 2023 (UTC)
- Yeah, I think the colours used on {{StdColor}} should be fixed. I'll fix this right away when I get my actual laptop back tomorrow (currently using a loan). Otherwise, thanks for the feedback, Shaundd! Much appreciated. SHB2000 (talk | contribs | meta) 00:39, 3 July 2023 (UTC)
- @Shaundd: My computer came in a bit late, but have fixed the map – are the colours too bright, though? Must say, the text is looking way more readable now. SHB2000 (talk | contribs | meta) 04:32, 6 July 2023 (UTC)
- @SHB2000: No worries, I think the colours work. -Shaundd (talk) 18:47, 9 July 2023 (UTC)

- Used on: British Columbia
- Support Time to kick this newly-found process – here's the first nomination that isn't a test. It's a good baseline map for me for several reasons:
- Contains all major highways, including those that connect to the United States, Alberta and the Yukon. Important routes are numbered (BC-5, BC-3, BC-97, TCH-16 and TCH-1 – BC-99 is a bonus for me, though I don't know if it would also be desirable to mark YT-2)
- Major ODs are marked.
- Accurately reflects the current region structure used on British Columbia.
- There are a few minor things that could be improved, though: it would be preferable if "(US)" could be appended next to Alaska since it is not a Canadian province. It would also helpful if the label for Tatshenshini-Alsek PP would be moved up, but that's a minor issue for me. --SHB2000 (talk | contribs | meta) 13:00, 30 June 2023 (UTC)
- Support. This is an excellent map that meets the stylistic requirements of a static map. --Comment by Selfie City (talk) (contributions) 15:05, 30 June 2023 (UTC)
- Comment: The choice of an equirectangular projection here is understandable (especially since most of our state and province maps also use it) but it does make the Northern B.C. region look even more enormous than it already is. Powers (talk) 21:04, 2 July 2023 (UTC)
- Comment: Thanks for the nomination. I'll try to fix the items SHB2000 noted in the next couple of days.
- Re the projection, I actually have a half completed new version of the map in BC Albers (the "official" projection used by the BC government), in part because I wanted to address the imbalance between northern BC and southern BC (I also wanted to tweak the colours to improve readability). Unfortunately, the map is a pain to deal with so the combination of busy life + annoying data set has pushed it to the side. -Shaundd (talk) 23:37, 2 July 2023 (UTC)
- Revised map is up with suggested labels changes, Vancouver's airport added, and changed the font sizing and colour a bit to improve readability. -Shaundd (talk) 18:35, 9 July 2023 (UTC)
