Comment: I think this is a really good map. My only comment is more about style -- some of the region names are hard to read (Gympie and Greater Brisbane), which is a flaw of our template (IMO). I personally think the hex colour of the region names should never be lighter than 202020 so it's a shade lighter than city names but still dark enough to read. -Shaundd (talk) 23:54, 2 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Support Time to kick this newly-found process – here's the first nomination that isn't a test. It's a good baseline map for me for several reasons:
Contains all major highways, including those that connect to the United States, Alberta and the Yukon. Important routes are numbered (BC-5, BC-3, BC-97, TCH-16 and TCH-1 – BC-99 is a bonus for me, though I don't know if it would also be desirable to mark YT-2)
Major ODs are marked.
Accurately reflects the current region structure used on British Columbia.
There are a few minor things that could be improved, though: it would be preferable if "(US)" could be appended next to Alaska since it is not a Canadian province. It would also helpful if the label for Tatshenshini-Alsek PP would be moved up, but that's a minor issue for me. --SHB2000 (talk | contribs | meta)13:00, 30 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Re the projection, I actually have a half completed new version of the map in BC Albers (the "official" projection used by the BC government), in part because I wanted to address the imbalance between northern BC and southern BC (I also wanted to tweak the colours to improve readability). Unfortunately, the map is a pain to deal with so the combination of busy life + annoying data set has pushed it to the side. -Shaundd (talk) 23:37, 2 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
