  • Support Time to kick this newly-found process – here's the first nomination that isn't a test. It's a good baseline map for me for several reasons:
  • Contains all major highways, including those that connect to the United States, Alberta and the Yukon. Important routes are numbered (BC-5, BC-3, BC-97, TCH-16 and TCH-1 – BC-99 is a bonus for me, though I don't know if it would also be desirable to mark YT-2)
  • Major ODs are marked.
  • Accurately reflects the current region structure used on British Columbia.
There are a few minor things that could be improved, though: it would be preferable if "(US)" could be appended next to Alaska since it is not a Canadian province. It would also helpful if the label for Tatshenshini-Alsek PP would be moved up, but that's a minor issue for me. --SHB2000 (talk | contribs | meta) 13:00, 30 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support. This is an excellent map that meets the stylistic requirements of a static map. --Comment by Selfie City (talk) (contributions) 15:05, 30 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment: The choice of an equirectangular projection here is understandable (especially since most of our state and province maps also use it) but it does make the Northern B.C. region look even more enormous than it already is. Powers (talk) 21:04, 2 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment: Thanks for the nomination. I'll try to fix the items SHB2000 noted in the next couple of days.
Re the projection, I actually have a half completed new version of the map in BC Albers (the "official" projection used by the BC government), in part because I wanted to address the imbalance between northern BC and southern BC (I also wanted to tweak the colours to improve readability). Unfortunately, the map is a pain to deal with so the combination of busy life + annoying data set has pushed it to the side. -Shaundd (talk) 23:37, 2 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Revised map is up with suggested labels changes, Vancouver's airport added, and changed the font sizing and colour a bit to improve readability. -Shaundd (talk) 18:35, 9 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
