There is more than one place called Gulf Coast:

The Gulf coast of Mexico includes parts of the states of (north to south) Tamaulipas, Veracruz, Tabasco, Campeche and Yucatán.

  • The east coast of Saudi Arabia is usually called the Gulf Coast, referring to the Persian Gulf; we cover it as part of the Eastern Province of the country.
  • The most common name for the west coast is "Red Sea Coast"; we cover it under Hejaz.
