Usable, not Guide

Sorry, but lacking a "Do" section, this article doesn't really qualify as a Guide. It could be made into one fairly easily by addition of some things to "Do." -- (WT-en) Bill-on-the-Hill 11:32, 14 April 2007 (EDT)

Bus map

The local bus company has developed a new bus map of Uppsala which I think would be helpful to this article. I am however not sure how to make such maps accessible to Wikivoyage, as it does not seem to be available under any Creative Commons License. Since there are plenty of CC-licensed metro maps on Wikivoyage there must be some way to get a CC-licensed version of this map as well, but I am not sure how to make one. Perhaps that would be a good backup solution, but I think that it would be preferable to have a map-picture since the link might die eventually and therefore has to be constantly monitored, and since a link wouldn't help any offline travelers. MartinJacobson (talk) 12:40, 23 August 2017 (UTC)

The bus routes might also change. I think there's a much better chance of the bus company updating their map than some volunteer editor doing it here. And besides, as you mention, there's a copyright issue. Ikan Kekek (talk) 20:34, 23 August 2017 (U)

I see your point, but maintain that an updated map is preferable to a link. For the time being I added a link in the "Get around/By bus" section, and will try my best to monitor it. MartinJacobson (talk) 15:51, 24 August 2017 (UTC)

Uppsala star nomination

Swept in from the pub

One of the best of the Wikivoyage articles is Uppsala. It's a star nomination with some support votes, but a couple more would be useful so we have a consensus strong enough to upgrade it. So if you haven't voted on it yet, just take a minute or two to give it your support if you think it's worthy of star status.
