Thanks for posting to Wikivoyage:Requests for comment. Is there a proposal discussion for this either on WV or at another Wikimedia site (e.g. Meta)? If so, there should be a link put on the RfC. If not, you're welcome to start a discussion, but I imagine there are other places to have it than here: our Travellers' pub, for instance, or the Wikimedia incubator.ThunderingTyphoons! Wikivoyage:Requests for comment is intended to include links to discussions, not just general questions. If you could start a discussion thread about your idea/concern in the pub, and link to that discussion from the requests for comment page, that would be helpful.
