Clarifications about the connect section in Nigeria Destinations

Hello @Ground Zero:, @Ikan Kekek:, @SHB2000:, @SelfieCity:, I would like to clarify the content of the connect section for Nigeria destinations, because in it's present state most of the information available in this section are mostly duplicated with explanations that might not reflect the local situation of the destination. Thank you. Timmylegend (talk) 16:59, 7 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Oops! I'd have hoped people copied the text as they thought it matched the situation on the ground, but seemingly not. We probably should delete most of it from the region and city articles. The text could appear in Nigeria#Connect, slightly modified, if it indeed applies in most regions. There is no need to repeat what is true most anywhere and stated in the country article, just specifics about the region or city, or an acknowledgement that the region or city indeed is no exception – after checking. See Wikivoyage:Article skeleton templates/Sections#Connect for general instructions. –LPfi (talk) 18:19, 7 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Timmylegend: I was not following the entire thing here, but maybe the page history on Ikorodu and Talk:Nigeria#Mobile phone provider listings might help to understand bit more on that issue. Think that GZ and Ikan started a discussion over there, but it didn't entirely solve the problem. SHB2000 (talk | contribs | meta.wikimedia) 12:31, 8 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I don't think this information belongs in each city article, especially if it does not reflect the situation in each city. It would be good to clean this up, and just have the information in the Nigeria article, or the region articles if appropriate. Ground Zero (talk) 12:53, 8 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Agree, and might do a cleanup soon. At least, after that discussion, it was mentioned whether a town as 3G or 4G network, but... SHB2000 (talk | contribs | meta.wikimedia) 20:09, 8 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
