- 70 Lands End, Richmond, San Francisco — Scenic coastline near the Golden Gate Bridge with hiking trails overlooking jagged cliffs, shipwrecks, and the ruins of a 19th century bathhouse.
- 71 Marin Headlands — North of the Golden Gate Bridge, a hilly region with spectacular views over the Bay and San Francisco, ocean cliffs, and historic sites.
- 72 Muir Woods National Monument, Mill Valley — A forest of old growth coastal redwoods.
