Cargo airports[edit]

How are these useful to travellers? I'd normally summarily delete such listings, but do they also serve general aviation (individual pilots flying their private planes) or passenger charter flights? Ikan Kekek (talk) 21:30, 5 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

LovelyChizzy, SelfieCity, SHB2000, Ground Zero and Timmylegend, any thoughts? I would particularly like to hear from LovelyChizzy because of her local expertise. Ikan Kekek (talk) 03:08, 7 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
There are passenger flights, too, and they are scheduled and frequent. I've added some info. The name is misleading. Ground Zero (talk) 03:21, 7 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Oh great! Ikan Kekek (talk) 03:39, 7 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, names of airports can be very misleading. e.g. Hobart or Broome have their airport as "Hobart International Airport" and "Broome International Airport", but they don't have international flights. I'm sure there's plenty of misleading airport names in the US and Europe too. SHB2000 (talk | contribs | en.wikipedia) 08:13, 7 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
The Owerri airport actually offers passenger services, although the name is misleading. It is one of the major airports in South Eastern Nigeria.Timmylegend (talk) 10:42, 7 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
