Provinces[edit]
Most of the provincial articles in this region have only one or two cities, and no other information about the place. I think would be more useful for travellers to have the information that we have on Western Iran consolidated, instead of being spread out over so many articles. Other regions of Iran do not follow do not follow this one-article-per-provibcd structure.
Here is the current structure, with a description of what we have in the article:
- 1 Alborz — a somewhat developed article, 4 cities
- 2 Chahar Mahaal and Bakhtiari - 1 city
- 3 Hamadan - 2 cities
- 4 Ilam - 1 city
- 5 Kermanshah - 1 city, 1 sight
- 6 Khuzestan - a somewhat developed article, 7 cities
- 7 Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad - 1 city
- 8 Kurdistan - 1 city, 1 sight
- 9 Lorestan - a somewhat developed article, 3 cities
- 10 Markazi - 3 cities
- 11 Qazvin - 2 cities
I propose o consolidate these 11 articles into 4, but I welcome other ideas:
- Alborz — a somewhat developed article, 4 cities
- Lorestan - a somewhat developed article, 3 cities
- Southwestern Iran, made up of:
- Khuzestan - a somewhat developed article, 7 cities
- Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad - 1 city
- Chahar Mahaal and Bakhtiari - 1 city
- Central Western Iran, made up of:
