Deletion Why did you remove all this info? I also saw a couple of outright inaccuracies, so I just reverted all of your edits to this page. If you respond here, please use {{Ping|Koavf}}. —Justin (koavf)TCM 20:16, 14 June 2016 (UTC)

[Edit conflict]

Hello, NeoMaps! Welcome to Wikivoyage.

To help get you started contributing, we've created a tips for new contributors page, full of helpful links about policies and guidelines and style, as well as some important information on copyleft and basic stuff like how to edit a page. If you need help, check out Help, or post a message in the travellers' pub. If you are familiar with Wikipedia, take a look over some of the differences here.

Can you please explain your edits in the Spanish phrasebook? It looks like some of them may be helpful, but most look destructive; for example, you've deleted the entire "Shopping" section and eliminated specifically Castellano pronunciations. Therefore, your edits have been reverted. In the future, if you want to make large-scale deletions or any other kind of edit that's likely to be controversial, I would urge you to discuss them at the relevant talk page (in this case, Talk:Spanish phrasebook), explain why you want to do that, and wait to see if you've convinced a consensus to agree with you. Ikan Kekek (talk) 20:22, 14 June 2016 (UTC)

For Iberic Spanish pronunciation, I've seen that there is another article. And I deleted some things because the system rejected when changing, telling me the filter that is a "bad word". So I'm trying to fix the problem. NeoMaps (talk) 20:29, 14 June 2016 (UTC)
Do not delete Spanish pronunciations. That is not a phrasebook only for some kind of non-Spanish Spanish. Ikan Kekek (talk) 20:35, 14 June 2016 (UTC)
If you see Iberic Spanish pronunciations in Spanish phrasebook, they are very bad. The correct Iberic Spanish pronunciation are in Castilian Spanish phrasebook (which should be renamed to Iberic Spanish phrasebook because Castilian and Spanish is the same language for LatAm and Spain. It seems to be fixed the problem in Spanish phrasebook article. NeoMaps (talk) 20:41, 14 June 2016 (UTC)
You need to discuss these things on the phrasebooks' talk pages, not take unilateral actions of this kind. Ikan Kekek (talk) 20:59, 14 June 2016 (UTC)
Agreed We're happy to have you but some changes are not helpful. For instance here you changed the link on Wikipedia to which doesn't exist... —Justin (koavf)TCM 21:31, 14 June 2016 (UTC)

Please explain[edit]

Can you please explain this edit? It's quite strange that you would want to edit other people's comments in a talk page. Have you previously edited this website under another screen name? Ikan Kekek (talk) 05:32, 15 June 2016 (UTC)

We shouldn't correct message from other people. There is explaining the problem "viente/veinte" and Peter wrote "viente" (wrong). NeoMaps (talk) 19:51, 15 June 2016 (UTC)
Exactly. You shouldn't "correct" posts by other people. So never do it again. And I notice you didn't answer my last question. Did you previous edit this website under another screen name? If so, which one? Ikan Kekek (talk) 20:24, 15 June 2016 (UTC)
The post was corrected by Turbo8000, the original post said "viente" so I reverted to the original one. NeoMaps (talk) 20:56, 15 June 2016 (UTC)
Do you know the expression "When you are in a hole, stop digging"? Ikan Kekek (talk) 21:04, 15 June 2016 (UTC)

French phrasebook[edit]

I am forced to speak to you due to the fact that I'd be edit warring if I reverted you again. I don't wish to even engage with you at this point, but if recording your misbehaviour will get you banned quicker, then that's what I'll do.

I reverted your edits because:

1. You conjugated appeler wrong. It's "vous appelez" with one L, not two.

2. "appelles" is not pronounced "a-PEH-leh", that pronunciation wouldn't even work for "appeler", "appelez", or "appelé". "a-PEH-leh" would look like "appéllé", which doesn't exist. "Appelles" is pronounced "ah-pel", in other words the "les" is silent.

3. "Merci" is not pronounced "meg-see". There is no "G".

4. Changing the "ay" to "eh", as you have insisted doing on the Spanish phrasebook, is firstly not correct ("eh" would make a "è" sound in French) and secondly you only changed three pronunciations, leaving the rest of them as "ay", meaning the article is internally inconsistent.

--ThunderingTyphoons! (talk) 16:37, 16 June 2016 (UTC)

You are right. In Spanish, "g" has another sound. So it could be "Meh'see" or so. NeoMaps (talk) 16:48, 16 June 2016 (UTC)
Maybe you should stay away from Phrasebooks for the time being, Neompas. Or at the very least initiate a debate on the talk page before you edit them... Hobbitschuster (talk) 16:56, 16 June 2016 (UTC)

Ban nomination[edit]

Just to make certain you're aware, I have nominated you to be banned on grounds that you've circumvented a previous indefinite ban (on the Turbo8000 account by creating a new account, this one. If you wish to respond to this, please do so underneath the nomination. --ThunderingTyphoons! (talk) 16:41, 18 June 2016 (UTC)

I am not Turbo8000. NeoMaps (talk) 17:30, 18 June 2016 (UTC)
