I created a banner for this topic, which depicts the Tomei Expressway through Atsugi, but I need possible feedback if there are better alternatives to the one I made.

Comments? Suggestions? --TagaSanPedroAko (talk) 03:47, 23 July 2019 (UTC)Reply

  • I have two Suggestions!
Suggestion Yokohama
Suggestion Tokyo

Suggestion Yokohama and Suggestion Tokyo. Both of them include Cherryblossom as one of a symbol of Japan. And in my opinion, it's important to show some information with banner. In these banners, vehicles obviously drive on the left side.--Halowand (talk) 12:22, 23 July 2019 (UTC)Reply

Toll Plaza Photo

[edit]
Toll plaza for the Hokuriku Expressway at Hakusan Interchange, Ishikawa, with the marked ETC lane for automatic toll collection.

Any consensus to change the example photo for the toll plaza to this one? It seems to be simpler to understand and a little cleaner. JRHorse (talk) 00:31, 24 November 2019 (UTC)Reply

The toll plaza is more distant in this photo. How do you figure it's simpler to understand and clearer? Ikan Kekek (talk) 00:53, 24 November 2019 (UTC)Reply
I would consider the ETC lane markings as more visible in this photo. JRHorse (talk) 01:15, 24 November 2019 (UTC)Reply
I understand. OK, no objection on my part. Ikan Kekek (talk) 01:21, 24 November 2019 (UTC)Reply
Thanks.. This is a smaller toll plaza as well, which is why it may also be a little easier to understand.JRHorse (talk) 01:25, 24 November 2019 (UTC)Reply

Totally inaccessible national highways?

[edit]

A previous version of the article made the claim that "national highways are at best, totally inaccessible with your automobile, and at worst, contain outright dangerous segments with little notice and safety infrastructure." This seems nonsensical (at best inaccessible?) and not in line with my own experience: kokudo/kendo can be twisty and narrow, and there are quite a few I would not like to drive in bad weather, but they're still usually well maintained and I can't fathom being entirely unable to drive on one.
