Convert this into a city article?[edit]

Should this article be converted into a city article with all listings merged here? Hobbitschuster (talk) 16:33, 2 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

There is a need for some articles which parts of the main Island to be expanded but other Guernsey islands such as Sark and Alderney are well developed and would not merge well into a single article for the whole group of islands. --Traveler100 (talk) 16:38, 2 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Well maybe an article for each island? Hobbitschuster (talk) 16:44, 2 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
I agree, a single article for Guernsey itself, leaving Herm, Alderney and Sark on separate pages as now. For a few tiny places (such as privately-owned Brecqhou) a throwaway mention on Guernsey page will suffice. Time to go ahead with this? I'm making a similar proposal for Jersey. Grahamsands (talk) 13:03, 31 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Although I have concerns about the proposed Jersey consolidation, this one seems to make sense as the two sub-articles have little content. Ground Zero (talk) 13:44, 31 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Single article for Guernsey Island and keep the other islands as is sounds like a good solution. --Traveler100 (talk) 13:54, 31 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry for the accidental rollback. It looks like you have fixed it. Ground Zero (talk) 08:34, 3 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Done as proposed above, with St Peter Port and St Martin re-directed into Guernsey. Grahamsands (talk) 17:37, 8 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you! Ground Zero (talk) 17:49, 8 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Now we have a good article at Guernsey. --Comment by Selfie City (talk | contributions) 18:00, 8 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
