Using talk pages

Hi, Freyr. Everything in the travel guide (destination articles, itineraries, travel topics, phrasebooks etc) can be edited at will. You can chop and change other people's contributions, add to them, or remove them altogether, as long as you do so in line with policy and in the traveller's best interests. That is a normal and essential aspect of building a wiki.

However, comments made by any other user on any talk page (be it a user talk page, the discussion page for an article or policy, and community pages like the Travellers' Pub) must be left alone. You can rewrite and edit your own comments, but not other people's. It's a matter of etiquette and respect for others. Equally, there should never be a time when another editor changes or deletes one of your talk page posts; if they do, you have the right to change it back. Does that make sense? I'm happy to answer any questions you may have.

Melbourne/Eastern suburbs

I've noticed that Box Hill is technically within the Eastern suburbs, which would make it a city district article rather than a city article. However, having an article for this district of the suburbs and not others — the current situation — causes me to ask out of curiosity: do you plan to create articles for other districts of the eastern suburbs as well? --Comment by Selfie City (talk | contributions) 22:38, 15 June 2020 (UTC)

I didn't realise there was a separate template for city districts, but I would like to make articles for the other Eastern suburbs. Ringwood is also in the Eastern suburbs, so I guess that's a start to having the other suburbs on here also. CupcakePerson13 (talk) 12:36, 16 June 2020 (UTC)
