Danyl Schiff

Copied from the talk page:

User:Ikan Kekek and I both recently saw an image posted by a user named PedoCaryJaySmith on the Phoenix, AZ page that contained (possibly, not entirely sure) illegal content containing a minor. Legal or not, it is totally inappropriate. If this is gonna be a problem on here, then I want to be promoted to admin in order to increase my ability to detect and remove this bull----. I am willing to limit my admin activities ONLY to eliminating pedos and CP if it improves my chances of getting accepted as admin. Dat Boy Danyl Schiff (talk) 05:57, 6 February 2023 (UTC)

Apparently there was something preventing them to self-nominate themself, but this should do. Will do my evaluation later. --SHB2000 (talk | contribs | meta) 06:08, 6 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

  • Oppose. Now that I've done my (extremely short) evaluation, there's no way I'm going to ever support a user with only 62 GUCs for adminship. They have only been here for two months, and a single-instance issue warrants adminship – and I haven't even started on their understandings of Wikivoyage's core policies. Come back later in another year once you've gained more experience and have a solid understanding of Wikivoyage's policies (in particular, the behavioural policies). --SHB2000 (talk | contribs | meta) 06:13, 6 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose I agree. As I posted on my user talk page: "Anyone can nominate themselves, but I think some admins probably don't know you yet. I'd suggest participating more in discussions on policy and districting and such if those kinds of things interest you. We want admins to show they understand Wikivoyage policies, guidelines and how the site works. Some great users aren't interested in that kind of 'under the hood' stuff and are just great content providers." Ikan Kekek (talk) 06:43, 6 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not a bureaucrat to close this, but a CU check by Sotiale has confirmed that Danyl Schiff, PedoCaryJaySmith, Camp Lejeune are all CU-confirmed to each other. As per w:WP:SNOW (not a policy here, but a similar reasoning can be applied), I'm going to speedily close this. --SHB2000 (talk | contribs | meta) 10:44, 6 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
