Regions[edit]
Given the way the sub-regions look like, should we get rid of them for the time being? Hobbitschuster (talk) 16:57, 18 October 2015 (UTC)
- Seems reasonable to me. Someone already did away with the subregions for Northern Chile and Central Chile a few years ago. The subregion pages should be redirected to Southern Chile though, not deleted (I believe they correspond to actual states/administrative divisions so it's possible someone could search for them). -Shaundd (talk) 21:31, 18 October 2015 (UTC)

- I don't have any special knowledge of the area and so can't comment on the merits of redirecting sub-regions, but if they are redirected please be sure that the breadcrumbs for everything currenly {{isPartOf}} those redirected regions are updated appropriately. -- Ryan • (talk) • 23:29, 18 October 2015 (UTC)
- The region definitions appeared to be half done. I have now put all the pages in, I think, the correct regions. Number of pages in each region are a little low, but I think the question should be asked again if they are needed based on a proper organization of the region and pages. --Traveler100 (talk) 11:38, 28 October 2015 (UTC)

Three years later, where are we? Hobbitschuster (talk) 13:29, 1 October 2018 (UTC) I have begun populating the subregion articles, and will continue to do so. I think that when I am finished in a few weeks, the rationale for merging them into the region will no longer be valid. Ground Zero (talk) 13:16, 23 May 2021 (UTC)
