Hello, 178.255.156.181! Welcome to Wikivoyage.

To help get you started contributing, we've created a tips for new contributors page, full of helpful links about policies and guidelines and style, as well as some important information on copyleft and basic stuff like how to edit a page. If you need help, check out Wikivoyage:Help, or post a message in the travellers' pub.

By the way, have you considered creating an account here? While you can absolutely keep contributing as an anonymous user, it promises a bunch of benefits, and no obligations. Gizza (roam) 00:05, 18 September 2018 (UTC)Reply

Yes, welcome and thank you for improving articles about destinations in Austria. -- ϒψιλον (talk) 18:12, 11 December 2018 (UTC)Reply
Also, thanks for creating a new Wikivoyage article. I plan to create a pagebanner (a picture at the top) for that article. If you have any ideas, they would be welcome. --Comment by Selfie City (talk | contributions) 17:38, 17 February 2019 (UTC)Reply

"Go next" sections

[edit]

Hi again and thanks for all your really helpful work! But here's a way for you to (at least in the long run) save time: The practice on this site has always, or at least for years, been that "Go next" is a place for bulleted links with 1-liner listings, not templated listings or markers. If you think about it, there's little point to a marker unless there's a corresponding map, but we don't include maps of "Go next" listings, simply links. The Wikidata numbers for the "Go next" listings are on their own linked pages. Ikan Kekek (talk) 10:38, 22 February 2019 (UTC)Reply

Yes. Probably the only exception is in some California county articles; see Alameda County#Go next. But those are an exception, not a rule, and probably no more of that nature should be created. --Comment by Selfie City (talk | contributions) 14:59, 22 February 2019 (UTC)Reply

Create log in user

[edit]

As you doing an ambitious reorganisation of regions it would be beneficial if you create a user account so that conversations with other contributors will be easier. --Traveler100 (talk) 15:14, 5 July 2019 (UTC)Reply

This is the discussion page for an anonymous user who has not created an account yet, or who does not use it. We therefore have to use the numerical IP address to identify them. Such an IP address can be shared by several users. If you are an anonymous user and feel that irrelevant comments have been directed at you, please create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other anonymous users.
