Now empty of content since I deleted a misplaced accommodation listing. I googled it to try and see if there was anything to add, and there isn't. Basically, this is a hamlet of 86 residents whose only mildly amusing attraction is its bees that were infected with M&M's chemicals from the local biogas plant, causing the honey they produced to come out blue :-) --ThunderingTyphoons! Outcome: Speedy keep -- Ryan • (talk) • 22:46, 11 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I created this article recently, thinking it would be one of the district articles. But then I realized the best district division did not include this. Rather than redirecting, I want to delete this so it does not show up in the search result autocomplete. Ar2332 (talk) 17:45, 23 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

But isn't there a policy never to delete anything ever? Hobbitschuster (talk) 16:29, 24 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Request for delete of incorrectly created district (not specific named place) by the author can be quick delete. --Traveler100 (talk) 18:18, 24 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Outcome: Speedy deleted. -- Ryan • (talk) • 18:28, 24 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I do not feel the place is notable enough to deserve an article all to it's self Mindi Crayon (talk) 21:51, 29 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Is the nomination only because of the lack of content? If you check our Wikivoyage:Deletion_policy it states: "Article entries should not be deleted from the site when a legitimate article can be written for the subject. " In practice if there was very little to write about then you could potentially 'REDIRECT' to a another settlement close by, although this action would be considered contentious by other contributors here, so proceed with caution. --Andrewssi2 (talk) 22:23, 29 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
According to Google maps it has the Hotel Bolivar, so it passes the "sleep test". We also don't seem to have any nearby cities to be an obvious redirect. So would it make a reasonable article if it included attractions within about 30 miles? AlasdairW (talk) 23:23, 29 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Wikipedia w:Tocache is also pretty light on this town of 23,000. The Spanish page is more expansive, but also pretty much light in terms of attractions. --Andrewssi2 (talk) 01:24, 30 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Outcome: Speedily kept. -- AndreCarrotflower (talk) 13:39, 31 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
